Comp 1
I was going for more of a GQ/Calvin Klein kind of look. The words and colors are suposed signify the different scents and they are supposed to correlate to 3 basic personality types.
Comp 2
This one is definitely more traditional. Because it's just a first round comp I declined to add all the dynamic photoshop effects. The intention is however that the final product would make heavy use dynamic shading and gradients in order to give it that sleek look we are used to seeing in conjunction with athletic hygiene products.
love! those are clean and simple. good job.
ReplyDeleteyour new layouts are very clean and it looks good, my only question is what is 'antiperpirant' I assume it's a typo.
ReplyDeleteThese are clean. But i feel like it's way too simple, just thought.
ReplyDeleteIgnore the typos =) Good catch though, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI really like comp1. Maybe you could do something for little more active looking thought.
ReplyDeleteLove comp one. I really like the simplicity and use of typography, but I also think it needs to have something to make it look more of an "active" person look. It looks like the labe could be for anything.
ReplyDeletei think comp 1 can benefit from printing finishes such as foil or some way of making it premium. (emboss, spot gloss, etc)
ReplyDeletemy concern is its a bit boring. there is no sense of tone, emotion, or narrative in the design. waht is an obao? how should i feel if use this product. It doesnt have to be so literal, but a slight brandable alteration in type, icon, texture, something... that makes the product unique and describe a bit of the benefits of its use.
type may be a little too small on the bottom.
comp 2... mehhh.. its like all the other sticks out there.
the 2nd comp is nice because it has more motion & action, & the 1st looks classy/sophisticated. I suppose how well they would work depends on what shape the container will be.
ReplyDeleteWell.... I was intending to use a traditional deodorant stick. But now because of Joe i might have to go back to rolling ball thing, even though the suck. After extensive searching, the only remote connection I was able to find was....
